Trophies and Medals for Minor Hockey Tournaments in Quebec: A Guide for Parent Organizers

Every end-of-season event or minor hockey tournament in Quebec brings together hundreds of young players, enthusiastic families, and dedicated volunteers. To cap off all that effort, nothing beats a great awards ceremony with trophies and medals that match the occasion. But how do you navigate all the available options? The first question most parent organizers ask is about budget. Good news: it's entirely possible to reward all participants without exceeding your association's financial limits. At Mr Trophée, we offer the best price guaranteed in Canada, and we can suggest solutions tailored to different budget levels, whether you have 30 players or 300. For minor hockey tournaments, personalized medals are often the most popular choice. Lightweight, easy to hand out, and appreciated by kids and parents alike, they can be laser engraved with your association's logo, the tournament name, and the year. It's a keepsake young players hold onto for a long time. Trophies, on the other hand, are typically reserved for championship teams, finalists, or special awards like MVP or goalie of the season. Laser engraving allows you to add a personal touch without blowing the budget. Player name, jersey number, age category — these small details make a big difference for a child receiving their award in front of teammates and family. Another practical tip: order early. Hockey tournaments often take place over intensive weekends, and production timelines are worth factoring in. Mr Trophée, located in Léry in the Montérégie region, offers fast service with the option to pick up at the workshop for clients in the Châteauguay, Kahnawake, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, and even Montreal areas. Finally, consider plaques to recognize the contributions of volunteers and coaches at the end of the season. These individuals also deserve acknowledgment, and a beautifully engraved plaque is a gesture that's appreciated long after the last game. Planning a minor hockey tournament in Quebec?
