Custom Medals for Sports Events: A Complete Guide for Clubs and Associations in Quebec

Whether you're organizing a swimming competition, a basketball tournament, a road race, or a tennis championship, a medal is much more than a simple object: it's a tangible memory of effort given, a well-earned victory, or a courageous participation. Choosing the right medals for your sports event means honoring every athlete the way they deserve. The first question to ask is about the type of medal. Die-cast zinc medals offer a classic, solid look, ideal for galas and championships. Color-printed acrylic medals allow you to incorporate your association's colors, a logo, or even a custom illustration. For events with tighter budgets, laser-engraved cut metal medals remain an excellent option combining quality and affordability. Next, think about personalization. A generic medal gets the job done, but a medal engraved with the athlete's name, the event date, and the sport becomes a true keepsake. At Mr Trophée, in Léry, Quebec, every medal can be personalized using laser engraving or high-resolution color printing, depending on your needs and budget. Quantity is also a determining factor. Whether you need 20 medals for a regional final or 500 for a major provincial tournament, a local supplier like Mr Trophée can respond quickly to your request, with the best price guaranteed in Canada. No need to order from abroad and wait weeks — you can pick up your order directly at the workshop or opt for delivery anywhere in Quebec. Don't forget the ribbon either. Matching the ribbon color to your organization's or event's colors adds a professional touch that is often underestimated. Finally, order ahead of time. Even though Mr Trophée is known for its fast turnaround times, planning two to three weeks before your event eliminates last-minute stress and gives you time to review engraving proofs. Investing in quality medals means investing in the pride of your participants and in the reputation of your sports organization. Contact Mr Trophée today for a free quote.
