Trophies and Medals for Basketball Tournaments in Quebec: A Guide for Organizers

Basketball is growing in popularity across Quebec, among both youth and adults. From community leagues to interschool tournaments and university competitions, events are multiplying every season. When the time comes to reward players, the choice of trophies and medals can make all the difference in the overall experience. Start by thinking about your overall budget. For youth tournaments, personalized medals are often the smartest choice. They are affordable, easy to distribute in large quantities, and kids wear them proudly around their necks right at the ceremony. You can have the tournament name, age category, year, and even your association's logo engraved on them. At Mr Trophée, laser engraving is included in the price, so there are no unpleasant surprises on your invoice. For senior categories or championship teams, a personalized basketball trophy adds important symbolic weight. Models featuring a player figurine or basketball remain classics, but laser-engraved wood or acrylic trophies are gaining popularity for their modern, clean look. If you want something truly distinctive, an engraved wall plaque can be awarded to the winning team to display in their gym or team room. Planning ahead is essential. A basketball tournament often involves multiple categories — men's, women's, U12, U15, U18, adult — which multiplies the number of items to order. It is recommended to place your order three to four weeks before the event, especially during peak season (spring and fall). Mr Trophée, located in Léry in the Montérégie region, offers fast service and can deliver anywhere in Quebec or welcome you directly at the workshop for pickup. Don't forget the special awards: most valuable player, best defender, most improved player. These individual distinctions are often the ones athletes remember the longest. A personalized medal or plaque bearing the player's name and their distinction makes the honor even more meaningful. By working with a Quebec-based workshop like Mr Trophée, you benefit from the best guaranteed price in Canada, personalized service, and a knowledgeable contact to guide your choices.
