Organizing a hockey tournament takes months of preparation, and the trophy ceremony is often the most memorable moment of the entire event. Choosing the right awards means honoring every player's effort and leaving a lasting impression. Here's how to make the right choice.
The first thing to consider is your tournament's overall budget. At Mr Trophée, we offer options for every budget, whether you're organizing a small neighbourhood tournament or a large regional championship. It's often a good idea to plan for multiple levels of awards: an impressive trophy for the champions, medals for the finalists, and individual trophies for special mentions like best goalie or most valuable player.
Next, think about your target audience. A peewee tournament deserves colourful, eye-catching trophies that will make young players' eyes light up. For an adult or semi-professional league, you'll want something more elegant — acrylic, glass, or brushed metal trophies with precise laser engraving featuring the tournament name, season, and winner's name.
Personalization is key. A trophy engraved with the team name, date, and tournament name takes on a whole new meaning — it's what turns it into a true family keepsake. Our Léry workshop offers laser engraving and colour printing, making it easy to add a logo, your league's colours, or even a photo.
Don't forget about lead times. For a tournament, it's best to order your trophies at least two to three weeks in advance to avoid any last-minute stress. Mr Trophée offers pickup at our Léry workshop as well as delivery across Canada, making logistics much easier for organizers anywhere in the country.
Finally, compare prices and quality. Mr Trophée guarantees the best prices in Canada on its products, without compromising on quality. Whether you need 10 or 200 trophies, each piece is crafted with care so your champions truly feel celebrated.
